Join the Lightner Museum and St. Augustine’s literary local author, Ann Browning Masters, for an entertaining evening of poetry and prose. This engaging presentation of content from Dr. Master’s book “Floridanos, Menorcans, Cattle-Whip Crackers: Poetry of St. Augustine” is designed to be part of “Creative St. Augustine: Enlightened Artists, Literary Locals, and Historic Heroes of the Ancient City.” Poetry from this collection has been published in anthologies and journals, and read at conferences, festivals, and recorded for the Florida State Historical Archives. Following the speaker’s presentation and question and answer opportunity, Dr. Masters will be on hand for a book signing event. Reservations are required.
